Mt Victoria Newsletter December/January 2018

Meri Kirihimete from us all at the Hub and here is the latest Mt Victoria Newsletter for you to enjoy.

December2018

We would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for helping us make it such a great year. It has been busy with events and lots of exciting projects have happened or are underway.

It has also been a one with sadness where we farewelled our friend and Mt Victoria stalwart Sue Watt, she will be greatly missed.

With only  few weeks to go we still have a few things left to do like our Pop-up shop this weekend and Community Cafe (7th, 8th & 9th December) – where you can sit down for a well priced hot drink and have chat with folks from our community.

We also have a clean up our streets on the 9th December from 11.30am – 12.30pm with free pizza after from our wonderful sponsors HELL Pizza – who are making lots of good stuff happen in our neighborhood.

From February our Hub will be open on the first Saturday of every month – so if you would like to pop by please do. So many people who are working full time never get the chance to engage with the Hub or us with them and hopefully this will give us the ooptunit to meet more people in our community.

We have had great fun working with the many groups in and around Mt Victoria and organising events, meeting new people and having some great chats.

Wishing everyone a very safe and joyful Christmas and holiday season. We will be back in February!
